General Camping Information

Camping Tickets
To camp, you must purchase a Full Festival ticket and sufficient Camping tickets for the size of your tent for the campsite of your choice.  Please see ticketing information and tent size pages for more information. Camping tickets will be exchanged for a tent tag by Camping stewards, in the campsite. Please see the Camping stewards as soon as your tent, awning or canopy is pitched. Do not leave your tent unattended until it is tagged. Untagged tents will be removed. Stewards will be there to assist you and will be available throughout the weekend. You will also be given a clear bag for Mixed Recycling and a red bag for Waste. Additional bags will be available. Please recycle waste where possible. Each tent, awning or canopy requires its own Camping ticket. Caravan and Camper Van tickets will need to be exchanged for vehicle passes.

Tent Sizes
Camping is only available to Full Festival ticket holders. The charge is for tent space not the people inside, so camping costs may be shared. One camping ticket entitles you to a plot large enough for a 2/3 berth tent space of max size 4.5m x 3.5m inc guy ropes, measured from the longest to the widest point. Each tent, awning or canopy requires its own Camping ticket(s). You must have purchased enough Camping tickets for your size tent.

Campsite Safety

For safety please allow space around your tent; 2m for small and 5m for large tents. Awnings or canopies cannot link tents or be attached to trees. Please leave appropriate fire gaps between each tent, awning or canopy and each will require its own Camping ticket(s). Tents should be made of fire-retardant material. Use the BBQ areas provided as no open fires, flares or oil burning lamps are allowed. Do not bring liquid fuel cookers. If cooking, read the gas safety advice on the Festival website before you travel. Do not bring fireworks. It is illegal to set off fireworks at the Festival. Anyone with fireworks will be ejected.

Noise
There may be high sound levels during certain performances. Prolonged exposure to high volume levels can cause damage to hearing. Children are particularly at risk of hearing damage. We recommend the use of ear defenders for young children. Please keep noise to a minimum when leaving the site and car parks so not to disturb people living close by.

Camping gas
Gas is sold on site and canisters must be fitted by the vendor. We recommend our vendor fits your canister, whether purchased on site or not. This is the single most common cause of tent fires and burns. ‘Empty’ gas canisters will still contain gas which can form an invisible and highly explosive cloud in an enclosed space. It may not smell very strong, but can still ignite causing serious burns. ALWAYS change can canisters outside where this gas can disperse naturally. Used disposable gas canisters can be disposed of in the regular rubbish bins. There is plenty of gas safety advice on the Internet, for instance:
www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/helpandadvice/gettingstarted/camping...
www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Healthyholidays/Pages/Campingsafety.aspx
…or search for your specific model and type of equipment.

Festival Camping Restrictions
• No open fires, sky lanterns, flares, oil burning lamps are allowed.
• Please do not bring liquid fuel cookers.
• Please use the BBQ areas provided.
• Any dangerous equipment will be condemned by the festival safety team and may be confiscated.
