MEGSON AND MOLTON MORRIS MEN CONFIRMED FOR THE FESTIVAL
Just confirmed…British contemporary folk trailblazers plus traditional Morris dancing from the country's finest!
Megson return to the Festival following the recent release of their latest album, The Longshot.
Like its predecessors, it has received brilliant press reviews and the duo continue to deliver on the promise inherent in fellow folkie Seth Lakeman's endorsement. "For my money," says Seth "Megson are amongst the most exciting trailblazers of British contemporary folk."
Their infectious sound is a mix of heavenly vocals, lush harmonies and driving rhythmic guitars and mandolas. As fRoots Magazine puts it "if you don’t like the music here, then you have a problem."

At the heart of English folk tradition, Moulton Morris Men are one of the best traditional dance teams in the country. Based in the Northamptonshire village of Moulton, they perform a variety of sword and morris dances, specialising in the local dances of this area. They have appeared all over Europe, including at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, and include nationally renowned musicians among their membership.
