Cambridge BID Summer in the Square
Description
Every Thursday in July, from 5–7pm, Cambridge BID Summer in the Square brings free live music to Cambridge railway station. There is no need to book — visitors are invited to simply come along, take a seat, and enjoy the atmosphere.
Guests can explore an exhibition of local photography, sample offerings from on-site food trucks each week, and relax as live music provides the soundtrack to summer evenings in the open air.
Delivered by Cambridge BID in partnership with CB1 Community, the series animates Station Square while celebrating local talent.
On 23rd and 30th July, the programme proudly partners with Cambridge Folk Festival, bringing the sounds of the festival to Station Square and building excitement for the festival’s return in 2026.
