The Cambridge Sessions
Description
Unique, candlelit evenings of live original music in central Cambridge, in partnership with Cambridge Folk Festival.
The Cambridge Sessions are listening concerts of original music influenced by folk, jazz, blues, country and more. The house band - made up of some of Cambridge's finest musicians, singers, and songwriters - are joined by other friends and musicians to perform together in the beautiful setting of St. Clement's church in central Cambridge.
The house band are:
Ben Smith - Guitar, Pedal Steel, Vocals
Sean O’Hanrahan - Piano, Accordion, Vocals
Fabian Bonner - Double Bass
Malek Hyde-Smith - Drums & Percussion
Stuart Pringle - Drums & Percussion
Plus special festival guests to be announced.
“We’re really excited about working with The Cambridge Folk Festival. We’ve all been to the festival many times, as audience members and performers, and it’s one of our favourite places to play. To be part of the festival lineup for 2026 is really special, and we’re looking forward to bringing some wonderful guests along to play for the special festival session on the 19th July.”
