Environment

There are no single use plastic water bottles being sold on site this year. Please bring your own reusable one – there are taps around the arena and camping sites.

Please help us keep the site tidy, minimise waste and recycle using the bins, bags and points provided. We are really proud to be a green Festival but you can help us to become even greener.

Important Notices

  • In an emergency, instructions will be broadcast to all areas. Stewards will assist you with directions to safe areas or exits.

For safety please allow space around your tent; 2m for small and 5m for large tents. Awnings or canopies cannot link tents or be attached to trees. Please familiarise yourself with your nearest fire point. Use the BBQ areas and fire pits provided as your own fires are not permitted. Flares, oil burning lamps or sky lanterns are not allowed. Only guide dogs will be allowed at the event.

Gas safety advice for campers coming soon.

  • Wristbands must be worn at all times to allow access. These cannot be replaced and if stretched or broken will become void. Wristbands are not transferable or for re-sale. Please keep your valuables with you at all times and do not leave lying around or in your tent. Cambridge City Council cannot accept responsibility for any losses.

  • Car parking is available at Netherhall Secondary School. Tickets purchase in advance priced at £20 for a full weekend and £10 per day plus booking fee.

  • There are separate entrances for vehicles and pedestrians. Follow signs and stewards’ directions when entering and leaving the site.

  • Smoking and vaping is not permitted within any marquee, bar, toilet, or any other wholly or partially enclosed public space. Please dispose of vapes in the bins provided.

  • Always know where your children are, arrange meeting points in case of separation, and write a contact number on the inside of their wristband. Children under 14 should always be with a responsible adult and never left alone in the campsites. Report lost children to HQ in the main arena.

  • There may be high sound levels during certain performances. Prolonged exposure to high volume levels can cause damage to hearing. Children are particularly at risk of hearing damage. We recommend the use of ear defenders for young children. Please keep noise to a minimum when leaving the site and car parks so as not to disturb people living close by.

  • It is illegal to set off fireworks at the Festival. Anyone with fireworks will be ejected.

  • Please consider other Festival goers and do not erect sunshades, bring chairs unless you really need them, leave them up if you are not using them or put them in circles. Chairs cause obstructions and are not permitted within or near entrances to marquees. Please allow access to space within marquees and keep pathways clear. Please keep blanket sizes to a minimum. Stewards will ask you to move or remove chairs and blankets if we are running out of space, please respect those requests

If you leave any unattended items, they will be removed.  For safety no glass is permitted.

  • Sun shades are not allowed in the arena as they take up space and obscure people's views. This includes arena edges.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE BLANKETS ON THE GROUND IF NOT OCCUPYING THEM

Do not use them to reserve space or allow them hinder access. Please keep blanket sizes appropriate to the people on them. Stewards may ask you to move or remove blankets.

  • Historically our audience have brought furniture to the event. As the festival has grown in popularity we have had to manage the use of chairs in a more strict fashion in order to fit everyone in. However, this has ended in people not taking the needs of other attendees into consideration.

If you are bringing a chair, do not put up a chair to reserve space or leave chairs up when unoccupied. Do not place in circles, around blankets or to hinder access. Please don't leave chairs up if you aren't using them or put them around blankets.

Stewards will ask you to move or remove chairs and blankets if we are running out of space, please respect those requests

If you leave any unattended items, they will be removed.  Chairs pictured or other items which may cause an obstruction, are not allowed within marquees.
