Since 1965, the Cambridge Folk Festival has been bringing people together through music, stories, and unforgettable moments. Loved by thousands of festivalgoers each year, it’s one of the world’s longest-running and most cherished music festivals – a tradition that spans generations, with many families returning summer after summer.

At Cambridge, you’ll hear global superstars alongside exciting new voices, all pushing the boundaries of what “folk” means today. But more than the music, it’s the atmosphere that makes the festival special – a place where everyone is welcome, and strangers quickly become friends.

And this year, we’re going even bigger. Alongside our 3-day celebration at Cherry Hinton Hall, you’ll find events and activities popping up across Cambridge, turning the whole city into part of the festival experience.

Come for a day, stay for the weekend, and celebrate summer with us. Join the tradition, discover new music, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Early Bird tickets for Cherry Hinton Hall will be on sale from 10am Friday 18th September and we have worked hard to make the 3-day festival as accessible as possible.

Prices subject to booking fees. Please see website for concessions, payment plan, camping and parking information.

The long, star-studded list of incredibly talented musicians who played revellers through their weekend in the grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall only scratches the surface of what the event offers to festivalgoers.
