City Wide Celebration of Folk
27 Nov 2025
In 2026, Cambridge Folk Festival expands across the city with an exciting new format. Working with local venues, promoters and folk clubs, organisers will present a programme of events in multiple locations. Highlights include concerts at Cambridge Corn Exchange on 25–26 July and performances in city venues during July.
Cambridgeshire Music will once again host the Summer School from 27–30 July, with a finale performance on 1 August at Cherry Hinton Hall. This new approach offers more opportunities for existing fans and invites new audiences to discover the festival.
"I have a lot of early memories of being here. It was an altogether joyous experience.”
About Us
At Cambridge, you’ll hear global superstars alongside exciting new voices, all pushing the boundaries of what “folk” means today. But more than the music, it’s the atmosphere that makes the festival special – a place where everyone is welcome, and strangers quickly become friends.
